Vižinada is a picturesque place located on a hill on the southern edge of the Mirna River valley and is one of the most wine-producing regions in Croatia with more than a million planted vines, and its winemakers have been winning numerous medals and awards for their wines for years, presenting them in countless respectable wineries, the most famous in Istria. Agricultural production has always been an important segment in the lives of the population of the Vižinada area, and what our elders started, the younger generations continued, combining the principles of traditional production with new knowledge and technologies. People here have always been engaged in livestock breeding and vegetable production, which is still present today. They are also known for the production of top-quality olive oil, prosciutto, honey, and lavender. Recently, there have been more and more producers of industrial hemp, which is considered one of the backbones of the future of agriculture in general. Family farms, agritourisms and rural households from the Vižinada area are widely known for the top quality of everything they offer. In one of its small towns, an impressive size of terrain categorized as arable land and pasture is offered. The soil has been cultivated for years so that it is still suitable for the cultivation of some agricultural crops today. It has a regular, almost square shape with a marked access road.
